ARTWORK SPECS & INSTRUCTIONS |
When creating artwork for print, whether it’s for screen printing or full color printing, always create it at 300dpi or a resolution of 300 pixels per inch and always create it to scale.
Please send artwork to art@tour-city.com or upload it to ftp.tour-city.com | u48841870-000 (login) | customer (password)
Photoshop Files
• 300dpi at finished size.
• Use layers and/or groups to disinguish between colors.
• Rasterize all shapes and text before submitting.
• Do not Flatten artwork!!!
• If editing is needed, we have to break apart flattened files, which may result in added graphic design fees.
• Delete any “Hidden Layers” that aren’t being used.
Illustrator Files
• Use layers and/or groups to disinguish between colors/text.
• Do not Merge colors or separations!!!
• If editing is needed, we have to break apart merged files, which may result in added graphic design fees.
• Do not use “Clipping Masks” if they’re not necessary.
• Please create all text to “outlines” before submitting files.
JPEGS and other File Types
• 300dpi at finished size.
• JPEGS are flat images. If edits need to be made, there may be added design fees. So make sure when sending JPEG or flat files, they have already been proofed by the client and there are no additional edits needed.

* Please send all Illustrator files as a CS3 or Earlier file.

LARGE FORMAT PRINTING SPECS (Banners, Scrims, Drumheads, Etc. ) |
• Illustrator EPS Files constrained to inches, instead of feet, are preferred.
• JPEGS - please send at 1/3 final size at 300dpi.
• Do not send Photoshop Files, due to their large size. If artwork was created in photoshop - flatten the art and please send as JPEG or TIFF matching the specs above. |
SCREEN PRINTING SPECS |
• Please send us artwork as either layered Photoshop, Illustrator or Illustrator EPS files.
• Flat files will need to be broken apart, which may result in added design fees.
• DO NOT SEND US SEPARATIONS OR REGISTRATION MARKS ON THE ARTWORK! |
